The National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR), the implementing agency of the Minister of Science and Higher Education, runs a programme addressed to entrepreneurs,   so-called „Fast Track”. This year the NCBR has allocated ca. 3 bn PLN to support innovative projects. SMEs may apply for a total of over PLN 2,1 bn, while the funding available to large enterprises totals PLN 750 million.

The four calls announced this year form another edition of the programme, implemented under the Measure 1.1.1 “Industrial R&D carried out by enterprises” of the Operational Programme Smart Growth. With its innovative formula – minimal paperwork, call for proposals run in stages and short decision-making time on financing – the programme is very attractive for companies. They can apply for funding for projects involving the implementation of industrial research and development work or development work on technological solutions and products that serve the development of their business and strengthen their competitive position.
