About The Event
The third edition of Loomehäkk is coming – it will take place in January in Tallinn, Estonia. It is the Baltics’ biggest creative industries hackathon, and in this edition, its main topic is entertainment. If your project falls into a category such as music, fashion, film, games or performing arts, you should definitely participate in it.
Loomehäkk is a 48-hour hackathon for creatives, techies, designers and entrepreneurs. They will have exactly two days to hack and present their idea to a jury. The organizers provide mentors, guidance, gadgets and a spacious venue to accommodate the whole creative process.
All projects hacked during Loomehäkk vol. 3 will be judged basing on overall quality of the idea, creativity and use of creative industries, technical maturity and business viability.
Early bird tickets are purchasable only until December 31st and cost 15 euro (the regular price is 25 euro). Registration is free for students who would like to participate in this event.
Loomehäkk is organized by Digix, an Estonia-based business incubator for digital creative media start-ups. Their fields of interest include architecture, design, performing arts, publishing, heritage arts, films and videos, entertainment software, music and advertising. They also conduct a 6-month incubation program for Estonian startups that includes weekly seminars, pitching sessions and study trips to other Baltic countries.
Loomehäkk is co-financed by the European Regional Development and European Union European Social Fund.
