Impact_Poland is an accelerator for innovators in the field of healthcare and agri-food, who are determined to make their projects a reality. The applications are open until 31st January 2017.
The founder of Impact_Poland is the FundingBox Accelerator, which received a Scale Up grant from the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development. Together with Exea Smart Space, Neuca (a leading pharmaceutical company) and GRH Żydowo (a state-owned agricultural enterprise), they strive to empower startups that often have a great product, but not enough knowledge and experience to launch it on the market.
This accelerator targets startups at a further stage of development, who are already equipped with all the knowledge and ideas necessary to create their product. Participants should either have a working prototype ready or be able to create an MVP in a few months’ timeLarge partner enterprises, Neuca and GRH Żydowo, specialize in healthcare and agri-food – this is why startups operating in these fields will be the priority of this edition.
The accelerator has created an original program, called “4I”: identification, inspiration, integration and investment. This four-step process allows startups to develop their business models with the mentoring of the best commercialization experts. The main goal of the acceleration program is to prepare the participants to enter the market with their product or to successfully apply for funding (both public and private) on their own account.
Impact_Poland offers 250 hours of mentoring and 25 weeks of collaboration with both the accelerator and one of the two large partner enterprises. Additionally, the most promising participants will receive 180 thousand PLN funding in total. Impact_Poland is looking mostly for scalable startups with global aspirations, so such ones are most likely to obtain the funding.
