Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tokyo, Japan, is organizing a seminar on Polish technologies for FinTech on 16th June 2017. All companies (from startups to large-scale companies) and institutes that wish to participate in it are welcome to apply until 28th February. The Japanese audience will directly select seven speakers to present their ideas during the conference.

The objective of the seminar is to promote Polish IT technologies applicable in the FinTech sector and to create an opportunity to implement them on the Japanese market. Until February 28th, all interested parties can post information about their products on the doITwithPoland website. The number of applicants is limited to 50 on a “first come, first served” basis.

After the application period is over, the Polish Embassy will promote the doITwithPoland platform among Japanese companies specializing in finances. The ones interested in the solutions presented during the conference will have the possibility to select the participants in a voting process. The voting will close on May 12th, when seven most interesting companies will be invited to participate in the seminar. The ranking will be publicly available on the website for the whole voting time. This kind of a selection process will make it possible for all applying companies to receive feedback on the potential of their product on the Japanese market prior to the seminar.

The event is organized by the Political and Economic Section and the Trade and Investment Promotion Section of the Polish Embassy in Tokyo. Additionally, the Department of Economic Cooperation of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs will actively participate in the seminar organization.
