Element Talks. Designers, let's talk business!
About the Event
If you’re a creative person and you’re working in design, you might want to go to Element Talks that will take place in Warsaw in late April. The conference will give you an opportunity to talk to people who are also passionate about the same things as you are.
It concerns the backstage of the designer’s profession; that means the less pretty side of being creative. In the past, you might have had some problems with finances, negotiations or copyright. If not, perhaps there are some issues you’d like to discuss or learn about. At Element Talks the speakers will share their successes and failures and they’ll talk about the issues important to you. you’ll be able to learn how they work and how they cooperate so that you don’t have to worry about the issues they’ve already dealt with.
You’ll also have a chance to take part in networking sessions, e.g. Speed Dates or Discussion Tables. That way you’ll definitely leave with more new connections. You’ll have an opportunity to make new business relations and start friendships. If not that, you’ll still leave wiser after exchanging your experiences with other people from your field or people whose work is adjacent to what you do. If you get hungry, you’ll always be able to grab a bite together with your new acquaintances from the food trucks available at the venue; they’ll be open throughout the conference.
You can choose out of three paths full of practical advice:
– Visual communication,
– Web, UX, UI, technology,
– Startup, entrepreneurship.
If you want to, you can also participate in workshops. There are two different options here: you can either opt for 2-hour workshops that take place during the conference or all day workshops that are planned for Thursday and Friday.
