If you’re a startup that’s working out solutions for industry, IIoT or smart city and you’re offering B2B solutions, KPT ScaleUp acceleration programme might be something just for you. All you need is a brand new idea and at least a prototype and you’re good to register for the acceleration programme? The main perks? Equity free grant worth of 200k PLN and support of great mentors and ten big industrial companies interested in acquiring innovative solutions and investing in startups.
The acceleration programme is 13 weeks long and takes place in Krakow from May 15 to Aug 11. It’s run by KPT (Krakow Technology Park). Twelve lucky companies will be able to co-operate with companies from Business Services, Industrial/Energy, Robotics and Software Industries.
What are the requirements you must meet? They’re pretty basic. You need to be a company that has at least one B2B prototype in one of three categories: Industry 4.0, IIoT, or smart city. Your company can’t be older than five years and it has to be registered in Poland. And that’s it.
The main goal is to prepare your products for implementation in large companies as well as have you ready to enter other markets. After all, going global is important to make your startup successful. In order to do that, KPT acceleration programme is going to be a lot of intense work. For 13 weeks you’ll be required to commit yourself 100% to making your business as successful as possible at KPT in Krakow. Luckily, you won’t be doing all that hard work alone. You’ll be able to work with experienced and knowledgeable mentors and run tests on your product to prepare it. You’ll also have the access to potential clients from Large Companies.
“Industry needs innovation if the companies want to compete successfully on the constantly changing markets. However, creating, testing and making new solutions work is a difficult task for a large company. That’s the biggest advantage of the KPT acceleration programme: startups and Large Companies meet on a common ground and have a unique opportunity to take a shortcut while from creating the prototype of a functionality to making it work,” says Andrzej Garbacki, board member of ASTOR.
So if you’re ambitious entrepreneur and want to test your solutions, KPT acceleration programme will be perfect for you. If you’re not afraid of modifying and adapting your product and believe there’s always room for improvement, you’ll definitely benefit from the programme. Don’t forget to sign up here before you run out of time.
