Smile-Expo is organizing an international blockchain and bitcoin conference in Tallinn, Estonia. This event will be a part of a series of blockchain events taking place in Moscow, Kiev, St. Petersburg and Prague.

The conference will focus on creating and implementing blockchain solutions in various fields, such as banking, media, trading, logistics or healthcare. It will also but special emphasis on the applications of blockchain in governmental institutions (Govtech). Apart from listening to keynotes delivered by the experts in the industry, all participants will have the opportunity to attend an exhibition area. Invited companies will present their bitcoin software and equipment in this zone.

The Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference gathers IT developers, entrepreneurs, investors, students, as well as software and equipment manufacturers from the industry. The lineup includes Kaidi Ruusalepp, founder and CEO at Funderbeam, and Kaspar Korjus, e-Residency Managing Director, the leader of the Forbes fintech rating. Among other speakers are Karolina Marzantowicz, IBM leading engineer from Poland, and Lasha Antadze from Innovations and Development Foundation.

Smile-Expo, the event’s organizer, is a company that focuses on advanced developments in the most innovative sectors, such as 3D printing or blockchain. They have over 11 years of experience in organizing and managing over 200 large-scale conferences and exhibitions such as Vapexpo Moscow or 3D Print Expo (the largest event in Eastern Europe dedicated to 3D printing). Their events have been visited by 323 thousand participants in total.

“Becoming interested in blockchain in 2015, we haven’t even supposed how comprehensive it would be in a year. After conferences in Moscow, Kiev and Prague, we have found a lot of partners and permanent speakers. Many of them will come with us in Tallinn,” said Pavel Likhomanov, event curator.
