About the Event

Let’s Start Up! is an initiative organized by students of top Warsaw universities who are passionate about entrepreneurship and innovations that solve the problems of the contemporary world. This week, two of their events will be held at Centrum Kreatywności Targowa, Warsaw’s leading innovation hub.

Tech Expo, the first of the two events, will take place on Thursday, 20th April. All participants will have the opportunity to listen to inspiring keynotes delivered by authorities in the startup world, see the most modern technologies and network with other entrepreneurs, as well as with VC funds representatives.

Tech Expo consists of three parts. The first one, called the Start Up Show, is dedicated to everyone – both students and experienced entrepreneurs. CEOs of known startups will present case studies, and share their insights on the topic of Disruptive Innovations. During Start Up Fair, each startup that offers a hardware, software, or B2B technology will have the opportunity to present their solution to a wider audience. Finally, during the Venture Capital Open Hours, selected startups will have 10 minutes each to pitch in front of renowned VC funds representatives and convince them to invest in their company.

The second event, Startup2Night, is a creative hackathon that allows 40 participants to create a startup from scratch in 72 hours. During this intensive weekend, they will build their own business concept with the help of experienced startup mentors. Startup2Night is dedicated especially to solutions from the fields of IT, business, science, design, art, and culture.

The weekend will start with Bootcamp, a series of Team Building & Project Management workshops. Then, during the Launch Weekend (from Friday to Sunday), all participants will build their own products or apps and present them to investors. This weekend will be followed by Startup2Night University – a three-week-long networking and incubation program.
