Galileo Hackathon
About the Event
Are you a part of the Geo-IoT app-dev community and have a cool project on your mind? European Global Navigation Satellite Systems Agency (GSA) created Galileo, the European Global Navigation Satellite System, and is now looking for passionate people who would like to change the face of Geo-IoT based technology.
The Hackathon is a perfect opportunity to prove your worth and show the world you’ve got what it takes to become a pioneer startupper. If Location-Based Services are your cup of tea, join this two-days coding frenzy and show what you’ve got to offer.
The participants will be able to check out how Galileo works on Samsung mobiles. They’ll have an opportunity to create apps using the „GNSS raw measurements” feature as one of the first. Since there are lots of uses for the Geo-IoT, let your creativity take the reins. What’s important is that the app is marketable and innovative.
You can create apps in these fields:
- Augmented Reality and games,
- Geo marketing and advertising,
- Mapping & GIS,
- Fitness, sport and mHealth,
- Smart mobility,
- Enterprise applications,
- Social networking,
- HyperTrack.
Sounds like something you want to try your hands in? Register for the second Galileo Hackathon here now to have a chance to win one of the three cash prizes worth € 1000 and other cool prizes.
