InCredibles, the acceleration programme powered by Campus Warsaw and Startup Poland Foundation has got a new exciting partner. The lucky five projects that qualify, besides getting a chance to grab $50,000 grants and develop under watchful eyes of experienced mentors, are also now getting perks from IBM.
The programme was announced back in May and the startups had until the end of July to sign up. The top five startups, who will enter the programme, will be chosen on September 22 at Campus Warsaw, out of the 426 companies that signed up.
The pilot edition starts in Autumn 2017. It’s for experienced startups with at least one acceleration programme behind them, with a product, and proper traction. What they’re getting is a tailored coaching and mentoring from international specialists.
„What I’m offering for InCredibles is not just financial support but, most importantly, sharing my knowledge, experience, and the perspectives for going global,” says Sebastian Kulczyk.
What IBM offers to the startups is the access to mentors who’ll show them the best commercialisation solutions. Besides that, they’ll get a spot at IBM Global Entrepreneur Program. That means they’ll get an opportunity of presenting their product at an international event. What’a more, for the duration of the programme they’ll have the access to IBM Bluemix.
„The chance to take part in Global Entrepreneur Program is for many a fast track to rapid development on the global market. Young entrepreneurs can count on free access to IBM Cloud platform,” says Piotr Pietrzak, Chief Technology Officer IBM Poland. – „The platform offers over a hundred integrated services, which facilitate the creation of e cloud infrastructure and the creation, the launch and the development of apps, as well as their management.
