Budapest is widely known as one of the most active startup environments in the CEE region. Now, it seems that the most significant corporations have noticed the astounding potential of the Hungarian startup scene. MOL Group, an international oil and gas company headquartered in Budapest, has recently teamed up with Design Terminal, the best business incubation agency in Hungary. Together, they crafted a unique 12-week-long acceleration program for startups offering disruptive solutions.

The program has two primary objectives. Firstly, MOL Group hopes to bring innovative solutions to their own company, implementing the technologies that startups are working on. Additionally, the program will provide all participating businesses with the opportunity to scale up and receive personalized support from experts in retail, customer service, and big data.

MOL Group and Design Terminal are looking for startups from four fields: mobility, loyalty marketing and big data, retail services, as well as parcel delivery and distribution. The team should have a prepared MVP and be ready to move to Budapest for the mentoring program. The judges will put particular emphasis on the potential and scalability of the product.

Top 15 applicants will be selected to participate in a three-day-long selection camp in Budapest. This phase will already give the startups a chance to develop their problem-solving skills and bring them closer together. Five teams with the highest potential will be invited to participate in the three-month-long program. The organizers offer a variety of support options – from access to their office space and MOL Group’s infrastructure, through a broad network of mentors, to funding opportunities.
