New tech isn’t only for international corporations processing big data. First of all, it’s supposed to make everyday activities easier and more pleasant. Sports and fitness nowadays play huge roles in the life of a modern person. They help you stay fit and healthy longer as well as really enjoy your life and work.
That’s why Sports StartUp Project 2018 is such a unique initiative. It is organised by SportWin as part of SPORTBIZ Sports and Business Forum. By selecting the best and most forward-looking projects in the industry, it aims to support innovation in sports, an often overlooked sector for the implementation of new tech. And it shows; there are no other contests for sports startups in Poland. No wonder Sports StartUp Project is pretty popular; this year is already the third edition of the contest.
So, if your company or team are in the sports industry and have a lot of innovative ideas, this contest is something for you! The topics the organisers are especially interested in are: new sports disciplines, use of new technologies in sports, innovative products and services, fitness, wellness, and healthy lifestyle. But don’t worry! They don’t limit themselves to ‘physical’ sports; you can apply if you work with video games, too!
To take part in Sports StartUp Project, the only thing you have to do is to submit a completed registration form to m.dymecki@sportwin.pl. However, remember that your company needs to be max. two years old and can’t have used venture capital financing.
The next step is jury choice. From all the applications, the members will choose only the best three projects. Then, if you’re in the lucky three, you will have a chance to present your idea during SPORTBIZ Sports and Business Forum on March 22nd. Whether you win or not, it’s still a great opportunity for you to receive valuable feedback and tips about your project. After the presentations, the winner of Sports StartUp Project 2018 will be revealed. Sounds exciting? Let’s see what’s in it for you.
