We’ve got some exciting news fresh from Vienna! WeXelerate, the largest start-up and open innovation hub in Central and Eastern Europe, is going to start with the next edition of their accelerator programme very soon! Starting from March 5, startups from 21 countries will be developing their innovation projects with the help of selected well-known companies. During the four-month programme the participants will be offered a wide range of training courses, specialist lectures and tasks to prepare themselves for future challenges.

This edition’s choices are really international. Among the selected companies you’ll find startups from Austria, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Finland, Israel, Latvia, the Netherlands, Hungary, Panama, Belgium, British Virgin Islands, Czech Republic, Denmark, Portugal, Russia, Slovenia and Turkey. There’s also one team from Poland. Congratulations to Voicelab.AI!

This Gdańsk-based company has created an AI-based platform that uses speech recognition and analytics, as well as biometrics to help you create a dedicated voice assistant or a chatbot for your business. It creates automated or fully customisable customer care scenarios easily and quickly to support sales and customer service. Voicelab is very successful, especially in banking, medicine, telecommunication, or judiciary systems. WeXelerate is a great chance for them to expand internationally.

The selected startups come from different fields. While most of them work on AI, Bots, IoT and Big Data solutions, there are a lot in Media, Cross-industry Technologies, or Energy and Infrastructure categories. So far, they have raised 17.9 million Euros in investments.

“Our second batch is significantly more international than the first one. With the accumulated experience of the past months, we have created an excellent base to make our accelerator program even more effective in the future. In the remaining three working weeks, before the onboarding week, we are going to focus on numerous innovation projects which will be launched in the coming months,” says Stephan Jung, Managing Partner and Head of the Accelerator Program.

The applications for the third batch open on April 4th, 2018. Don’t miss your chance and bookmark weXelerate’s website to sign up when the time comes. See you in Vienna!
