About the Event

Are you looking to further your knowledge regarding hardware startups? No matter if your interests lie in investments, or if you’re developing an idea of your own – keep your afternoon free on April 24th, and head to Poznań to find out how to succeed as a hardware founder, and the mistakes to avoid along the way.

The event, aptly called Rave IoT, is organized by Brinc.io – an international hardware accelerator company based in Hong Kong. Organized in the former printing house, also known as Stara Drukarnia, the event will mark Brinc’s first venture to Poland.

As for the agenda, participants can expect a number of panels touching upon topics such as common hardware financing mistakes, an introduction to manufacturing and sourcing, or qualities VC representatives truly value in hardware startups. The guests will get a chance to hear from Brinc’s co-founder and Forbes contributor, Bay McLaughlin, also known as BetaBay, whose previous credits include Apple and Intercom. Many venture capital companies have also confirmed the attendance of their representatives at the event – guests will get a chance to catch investors such as the CEO of Arkley VC – Piotr Wasowski, Tomasz Czapliński – the CEO of SpeedUpGroup, Tomasz Czapliński of SpeedUpGroup, Maciej Frankowicz of Shape VC, and Dariusz Lipka of BLDG VC.

After a series of talks and panels, the organizers have planned a Startup Pitch Night, as well as an Investor Q&A Session. Over 15 startups have confirmed their attendance so far, and with companies such as Moodnode – and IoT smart light system company, trackable smart wallet developer Woolet, and Locky, which produces innovative locks for smart homes, the presentation segment sound like something you truly can’t miss.
