Impact’18 has come to an end. This year’s edition of our event found its home in the heart of Malopolska Region – Krakow. On June 13th-14th, Krakow as a Host City welcomed Impact’18 into its ICE Congress Centre, but that was only the beginning of its involvement in our event. The high ranking city officials have actively participated in many of the activities, and, as the Host City of the event, Krakow made each of our participants feel right at home.

To get a taste of what they could expect throughout the two day event, our guests got a chance to watch a special welcome video prepared for Impact’18’s inauguration. In the clip, which you can watch below, the participants received a personal greeting from the Mayor of the City of Krakow – prof. Jacek Majchrowski, and the Marshal of the Malopolska Region – Jacek Krupa.

With the two days of our event filled to the brim with activities, lectures, workshops, and debates, our participants hopefully got time to go exploring the beautiful Krakow. They also got to meet several of the city’s representatives right at the ICE Krakow Congress Centre. Startups participating in our Impact Link activity had a chance to meet Filip Jarmakowski – Head of the Entrepreneurs Growth Centre in the Municipality of Krakow. After the networking session, Jarmakowski joined Julia Szopa (President of the Board at Startup Poland) to discuss the city’s startup ecosystem on the NCBR stage.

We hope you’ve enjoyed Impact’18 as much as we have! We’d like to thank our Host City for bringing its true entrepreneurial spirit to our event. ‘Till next time!
