Is your fintech startup ready for a new chapter? It’s not always about building your brand and waiting for the phone to ring. Sometimes, your next adventure stays hidden behind an investor’s closed doors, and all you need to do is knock. In case you’ve been waiting for the so-called “office hours”, here’s your chance! BGŻ BNP Paribas bank has just announced its next round of meetings with startups, and you simply can’t miss it.
You may have heard about BGŻ BNP Paribas’ “Code of Conduct” for cooperation with startups – we’ve written about it before, but here’s a quick roundup. The company has compiled six steps which aim to simplify the procedures of incorporating new technological solutions developed by startups. As stated by Piotr Widacki, Managing Director and Head of Digital Transformation at BGŻ BNP Paribas, these procedures [open] the bank up to effective cooperation with young tech companies while changing the rules of the game in the corporate-startup relationship.
The bank’s “Office Hours” program is a natural continuation of their startup-friendly philosophy. This time around, the company is looking for startups which can offer an innovative look at generating loan agreements for small and medium businesses, and turn the process as user-friendly as it possibly can be. We’d like to meet startups which can help us with developing a new approach to loan agreements – their creation, modification, and versioning – stated Izabela Fotyga, Director of the SME Credit Products Office at Bank BGŻ BNP Paribas
Each participating startup will have 45 minutes to present their technology in front of the bank’s representatives from the bank’s MSP department. Fotyga stresses that the meetings do not revolve solely around the presentations – the bank also wants to foster an atmosphere of exchanging experiences and expert knowledge during the Office Hours. This is why we would like to invite young and ambitious entrepreneurs who would like to expand their business and gain a major business partner – said Fotyga.
So what can you expect after a successful meeting? According to the press release, chosen companies will have a chance to work with the bank and test the proposed solutions in a special environment.
If you’d like to participate in the program, feel free to send in your application to the following address: startupy@bgzbnpparribas.pl . The meetings will be held at Warsaw’s Startberry space on August 9th, and the applications are open until the end of this month.
