About the Event

The startup sphere of the business world has always been a migrant-friendly arena – after all, it’s easier to find your way in a world where you’re not the only one who’s starting from the ground up, and everyone at least remembers their humble beginnings. Even with this mindset being rather common in the startup ecosystem, getting a grasp on a business side of things in a brand new country is no easy task. If this situation sounds familiar for you in the context of Poland, there’s a new conference coming up next week in Wrocław which just may help you find your feet in the chaos of the business world!

The “Business for Foreigners Conference” organized by Startup Poland was created as a crash course for migrant innovators who want to launch their business careers in Poland. The Wroclaw agglomeration houses over 100 thousand international migrants, the majority of whom are Ukrainian – this is why Startup Poland has decided to dedicate the first edition of the conference to upcoming entrepreneur from this region. No matter if you’re looking for a business partner, an investor, or maybe just someone who could give you some tips for finding your first steps in the Polish business world, you definitely won’t leave the event without learning something new.

Apart from the networking aspects, the organizers have also prepared a series of lectures which will cover the legalities of starting a business in Poland by a foreigner, the opportunities for foreigners in the local startup world, as well as ways of sourcing business capital in Poland. The complete program of the event can be found HERE.

Attendance is completely free, but prior registration is required, and can be done HERE. The conference will be held in Polish, Ukrainian, and Russian. See you there!
