Summer can be a tough time for entrepreneurs – while most of us would prefer to spend these hot months in the shade of a palm tree with a cold beverage in hand, some things just aren’t meant to last forever. After all, inactivity is a startup’s worst enemy! Thankfully, with this week’s installment of our ToDo series, you may be able to squeeze in one final trip into this holiday season, and satisfy your networking needs along the way.
While Slovakia’s startup community is one of the younger ones in the CEE region, its growing potential has been noticed by the leading players of the international business world. If your previous business adventures have not landed you in Bratislava quite yet, and you’re up for a spontaneous networking trip next week, here’s your chance! Startup Grind Bratislava’s 3rd birthday is coming up, and it’s the perfect opportunity to introduce yourself into the Slovakian tech community.
The Bratislavian chapter of Google’s international startup network is throwing a summer party for the occasion. What can you expect? The organizers are planning a busy mixer evening filled with leading Slovakian startupers and entrepreneurs. The party will be hosted the internationally renowned 0100 Campus. Founded by Dusan Duffek of Rubix Lab, the coworking space lies in the heart of Bratislava, and serves as a home for over 70 startups of 15 nationalities. Next Tuesday, the venue will lend its innovative energy to the crowds of Startup Grind.
Apart from the networking sessions, guests will get a chance to listen to a keynote about the community’s journey and its plans for the future. The event’s partners include the 2018 CES Awards Startup of the Year nominee DECENT, 0100 Campus, Slido, Binarium , and Startitup.
