European Congress of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises
About the Event
Whether you’re an SME owner or planning to be one, you’ve surely heard of European Congress of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, the largest event of this kind in Europe. It is organised annually by the Chamber of Commerce (RIG) in Katowice, and it’s been hugely popular. This year, the Congress will be held for the 8th time.
Each year, over 6000 experts from Poland and abroad gather to discuss the future, the possibilities, and barriers for the most important sector of the Polish economy. You’ll meet representatives of all kind of businesses and governments here, as well as scientists and economists.
There’s a lot to look forward to! The event is, first and foremost, a platform for exchanging views and experiences. That’s why you can expect a lot of opportunities to do just that. Over the three days of the Congress, you can attend numerous panels, sessions, debates, and workshops.
This year, the main topics will be: industrial dialogue, labour market and education, financial management in SMEs, management and development, digital enterprise, state and law, passion and free time, self-government, marketing and sales, and health and environment.
As always, you can expect many renowned guests, among whom you’ll find: Wojciech Saługa, Marshal of the Silesia Voivodeship; Janusz Steinhoff, President of the Board at KIG; Tomasz Styczyński, Vice President of the Board at Pekao; Tadeusz Donocik, Honorary President of RIG in Katowice; Kazimierz Karolczak, President of the Board at Górnoślasko-Zagłębiowska Metropolis; or Marcin Krupa, President of the City of Katowice; and many many more.
Throughout the Congress, the increasingly more popular Business Expo Fair will be held, so be sure to take a look!
