Writer and photographer. Author of many reportage series and books, including "Miedzianka. Historia znikania, Wanna z kolumnadą, 13 piętter, Miasto Archipelag, Badly Born. Holder of grants from the National Center for Culture, Ryszard Kapuściński Herodot Foundation, and the City of Warsaw. Nominated for the most important literary awards in Poland. His books have been translated into English, German, Russian, Czech, and Hungarian; a Chinese translation is in preparation. He works with the Institute of Reportage in Warsaw, and co-founded the MiedziankaFest literary festival.

In August 2019, his latest book "Twelve. Don't Think You'll Run Away."
