Marek Tomczuk has more than 21 years of experience in banking sector. Today as Managing Director at Polish Development Bank (BGK), he is responsible for products and financing division. Prior to joining BGK, he had most recently served as Deputy President of the Management Board of Bank Pekao S.A, where he had been overseeing the retail banking division. He was appointed Chairman of supervisory boards of: BIK SA credit bureau, Central Brokerage House of Bank Pekao, Xelion Investment House, Pekao Direct (contact centre) and Member of the Supervisory Board of Pekao Mortgage Bank. During hiscareer,MarekheldpositionofdirectorinCitibankHandlowy(memberofCitigroup),and Managing Director in Kredyt Bank (Belgian KBC Group), Santander Bank and Raiffeisen Bank Polska (a member of Raiffeisen Bank International AG). He was also Member of Raiffeisen TFI Supervisory Board and President of the Management Board of Raiffeisen Financial Services Polska Sp. z o.o. Graduated from the Department of Economics and International Relations of Cracow University of Economics , University of Rzeszow and received his PhD in Economics and Finance .
