He is an analyst at the Polish Economic Institute, a public economic think tank with a history dating back to 1928. He was inspired by Gombrowicz's duel between the Analyst and the Synthetic. Now, thanks to his technical knowledge in the area of data science and communication skills, he performs numerous quantitative analyses that help in the decision-making process.

Maciek has implemented joint projects with Mastercard or UN Global Compact Network Poland. His publications have reached an audience of nearly 20 million. Currently he is working on projects in the area of energy and climate. Additionally, Maciek is a co-founder of Fifteensec Media, a marketing agency that specializes in TikTok. He handles B2B marketing and analytics both internally and by designing reports for clients.

Maciek earned two engineering degrees from the Gdansk University of Technology and is currently completing his Master's degree in Computer Science and Econometrics at the Poznan University of Economics. In 2022 he was among 50 people who reached the semi-finals of the McKinsey and Forbes "25 under 25" competition and is one of 65 Lotto Foundation scholarship holders.
