BIO

President of the Polish Volleyball Federation.
Born on 26 June 1977 in Skwierzyna. A former excellent volleyball player of the Polish national team, playing the position of the receiver, 322-times representative of the country, a silver medalist of the 2006 World Championships, a two-time participant of the Olympic Games (Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008), at which, together with the national team, he twice took the 5th place. He won the Polish championship three times with Mostostal Kędzierzyn-Koźle and successfully played in the Italian league in teams from Perugia and Macerata.
After ending his playing career in 2012, he was coach of Farta Kielce and ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle. In October 2015 he became president of the Kędzierzyn club. Under the leadership of President Świderski, Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle became a national powerhouse and one of the strongest teams in Europe. In the 2020/2021 season it became the second Polish volleyball club since 1979 to win the European Club Cup. From 27 September 2021.
Married to Olga Wierzbicka (now Świderska), he has two children, Maja and Tomasz.
Hobbies: speedway racing, fishing, Italian culture.
