Sociologist, assistant professor at the Nofer Institute of Occupational Medicine, editor of the bimonthly journal "Occupational Medicine", researcher and lecturer, trainer of health promotion leaders. He is interested in the practice of health management at workplaces, beliefs and lifestyles, and communication in the area of health. For 35 years he has helped create, implement and evaluate health strategies in companies and communities. Author/editor of more than 100 publications – among others the books "Health in the Public Consciousness", "Workplace Health Promotion in Enlarging Europe", "Low educated workers and health", guides and questionnaires supporting the creation of healthy organisations. In 2009 he and his team received the World Health Organisation Award for Outstanding Research in OHS Promotion.
