Director of the "Monument – Child Health Center" Institute (IPCZD)

Graduate of the Medical Academy in Warsaw, since 01.10.1979 employed at the Children's Health Center. Initially worked in the Department of Pediatrics, then since 1986 in the Department of Pediatric Intensive Care, since 2018 Director of IPCZD.
In 1985-1986 and in 1990 he held scientific internships in France (SEPCR scholarship, then French government scholarship).
Organizer of a number of conferences on children's intensive care and clinical research in Poland. Active coordinator of international scientific cooperation – Polish manager of 4 European grants: EU-CHS, GRIP, ID-EPTRI, c4c and European coordinator of SMART grant, (Small Medicines Advanced Research Training).
Member of the European Society of Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care (ESPNIC), in 2014-2017 elected to the board of this society as Professional Development Committee Chair.
In 1990-1994 scientific consultant, then medical director of Boehringer Ingelheim company in Poland. In 1994-1998 chief medical advisor to Medicover in Poland. In 1999/2000 completed one year course "Course on management for health care reform in Poland – (Project Hope and CMUJ School of Public Health) and in 2002 "A course on management of health care". (Project Hope and CMUJ School of Public Health).
He received a number of trainings in clinical trials: in 1994 "GCP inspectors and country counsellors on clinical trials". (DIA, Institute of Medicine and Ministry of Health), in 1996 "A course on pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacoeconomics" (Potsdam Institute of Pharmacoepidemiology and Technology Assessment and School of Public Health CMUJ), in 1996 "Clinical data management and drug safety in clinical trials". (DIA and Institute of Medicine). In the pre-accession period to EU in 2004, he was trained in "Clinical Trial Applications and GCP Inspections" and "Clinical Trials Methodology and Statistics". (both courses organized by URPL and Spanish Pharmaceutical Administration). Since 2007 he has been a member of the Paediatric Committee of the European Medicines Agency.
