BIO

A graduate of the Faculty of Cybernetics at the Military University of Technology and the College of Management and Finance at the Warsaw School of Economics. He also obtained the Executive Master of Business Administration degree.
He started his professional career at Accenture where he was responsible for implementation of particular modules of the central banking system in PKO Bank Polski. In the years 2006 – 2011 he was associated with the Belgian Capital Group KBC: Kredyt Bank and insurance companies TUiR Warta and TU NŻ Warta. From 2011 to 2017 he worked for PKO Bank Polski as Director of the Transaction Application Development Department. He played a key role in the processes of acquisition of Nordea Bank Polska and SKOK Wesoła by PKO BP S.A., launching in PKO Bank Polski, among others: mobile banking IKO.
Since 2017, as a plenipotentiary of the Minister of Finance for Information Technology, he supervised the IT organization of the Ministry of Finance consisting of over 1.8 thousand employees. He created and implemented the digital transformation strategy for the Ministry of Finance. He also successfully restructured endangered initiatives, in particular the e-Taxes project, where he led to a pre-court settlement.
He implemented one of the most popular e-services in the administration – Your e-PIT – which increased the number of electronically filed tax returns to 80%, followed by e-Tax Office. He led the implementation of Poltax+, a centralized tax collection system, along with the introduction of tax micro-accounts that automate the process of posting tax receipts.
He was responsible for the implementation of a new e-Toll toll collection system based on satellite positioning technology, which has been available to Polish drivers since June 2021.
