Director of the Analyses and Innovations Department at the National Health Fund Headquarters

A graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology. For 30 years professionally engaged in the organization of health care. In the 1990s, he was involved, among others, in projects of health care financing by local and regional authorities. In 1999-2003 he was head of the Analysis Department in the Health Insurance Supervisory Authority. In 2004, as an employee of the Ministry of Health, he participated in legislative work on the law on health care services financed from public funds. Since 2005, he has worked for the National Health Fund, where he coordinated the preparation of general contract terms and conditions, contracting of services and bid evaluation criteria. He also participated in the project of homogeneous groups of patients (DRG) and prepared the first lists of guaranteed services. Since 2016, he has been the director of the Analysis and Innovation Department at the National Health Fund Headquarters. During the pandemic, he led, among others, the NFZ team responsible for preparing the conduct of COVID-19 immunization.
