A graduate of the Faculty of Electronics at the Wrocław University of Technology, he has been professionally active in the IT industry for over 30 years in various roles: as a manager in an IT department, as a sales support engineer and as a business solutions architect for the world's largest producers of modern technologies. For 10 years he worked as an expert and later as a manager in Bank Zachodni WBK (currently Santander Bank). Since 2007 involved in the development of x86 server virtualisation. Project manager of branch server consolidation to VMware platform. For pioneering solutions in the use of VMware technology for critical distributed systems he was honoured with a dedicated session at the VMworld 2008 world conference in Las Vegas. Founder of the Polish group of VMware users – VMUG. He gained international experience working as Channel Sales Engineer for Eastern Europe & Russia/CIS at Citrix. Since 2014, in parallel as a hobby, he works in the ITwiz editorial team as a columnist, technology fan and author of independent technology articles focused on innovation and modern technologies, including: automation, artificial intelligence, quantum computers or cloud computing. He holds numerous technical certifications from Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, Hitachi and ITIL. He is currently Senior Pre-Sales Manager CEE at Hitachi Europe.
