Director of Technology in IBM for Poland and Baltic countries responsible for building strategic directions in the field of technology, promoting the latest IT solutions improving business efficiency and for the development of technical teams/communities. Graduate of Poznan University of Technology and Warwick Business School. Piotr Beńke has been involved in the IT industry for 24 years building his experience in various positions and working with many sectors/industries. He is an active certified executive architect of IT solutions in the area of infrastructure as well as integration. Prior to assuming his current position, he worked as Director of IBM Systems for Poland and the Baltics, where he was responsible for sales of the latest technologies offered by IBM. Previously he led technical sales support team and team of architects. He is passionate about the latest IT technologies, such as cloud computing, blockchain, AI and quantum computers, and an ardent advocate of their use in everyday life. He develops technical communities in IBM as part of the team working at the IBM Academy Of Technology. He actively participates in the activities of various NGOs promoting the application of the latest technological solutions in different sectors and at different levels of government in our country.
