Konrad Maj
BIO
Social psychologist, head of the HumanTech Center for Social and Technological Innovation at SWPS University in Warsaw. Dr. Konrad Maj is academically interested in issues related to media psychology, new technologies, social impact and innovation. He conducts research in the field of HRI (Human-Robot-Interaction). He directs the “HumanTech Meetings” project, which popularizes the connection between social sciences and new technologies. He works with The Dutch Research Council (NWO), where he reviews grants from Dutch applicants. He is a member of the Program Council of the Electronic Economy Congress. He has held study visits to such centers as ISI – Institute for Social Innovation (Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA), ID+ Research Institute for Design, Media and Culture (University of Averio, Portugal), Design Factory (Aalto University, Finland). Author of dozens of scientific publications. Counted among the 25 most outstanding graduates of the 25th anniversary of SWPS University.
