Andreas Spengel is responsible driving the Fintech, Platform & New Verticals business market development in Central Europe across twelve markets.

Andreas joined Mastercard in 2013 and has taken over various roles in developing the business for Mastercard in Central Europe. He has been working for the past 25 years in the Financial services industry and held various roles e.g. at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty and as a strategy consultant at OliverWyman. Andreas is enthusiastic about innovation and driving digitization forward, with a specific focus to help and coach start- and scale-up to succeed in the market place.

Located with his family in Munich he is passionate about the mountains and the lakes.
Andreas holds an MBA and a PHD from Bayreuth University.
