Vice-President of the Management Board of the Polish Development Fund.

Manager with management experience in administration and communication, expert in social policy.

He started his professional career in one of the Open Pension Funds, later he worked in the Pension Funds Supervisory Authority. He then became a specialist journalist at Gazeta Prawna covering social policy, where he also headed the Labour section. During his career, he was also the head of the section in Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, deputy editor-in-chief of Rzeczpospolita and Wprost weekly. He hosted the programme “Ekonomia raport” on Telewizja Republika.

In 2015, he was appointed Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy, where he was responsible for family policy and digitalisation. He successfully implemented, among others, the 500+ Programme, the Good Start Programme, and developed a network of care institutions for young children. He is also co-author of the introduction of Poland’s first full e-document (mKDR) and the digitalisation of the application process for family benefits. During his work at the Ministry, he was a member of the Committee for European Affairs, the Housing Council (Mieszkanie+ programme) and the team for the development of the “Immigration Policy of the Republic of Poland”.

At the PFR, he was responsible in particular for the Employee Capital Plans programme and the operational implementation of aid programmes for companies in the SME sector: Financial Shield 1.0 and 2.0.

He combined his professional work with expert activities. He was a social policy expert at the Sobieski Institute, a member of the Expert Team of the Alliance of Large Families 3+, and co-author of the Government’s Family Policy developed in 2006-2007.

Winner of, among others, the Economic Award of the Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers, the Krzysztof Dzierżawski Award, the Tulip of the National Day for Life, the Sharp Pen Award, the Primus in Agendo Award. Author of two books: “All about saving for retirement in Open Pension Funds”, “Don’t let yourself be told”.

He holds a degree in sociology from the University of Warsaw, a doctorate in economics from the Institute of Labour and Social Affairs and postgraduate studies in international relations from the University of Warsaw and the National Defence Academy.
