Journalist, columnist and writer, editor-in-chief of Rzeczpospolita from 2 January 2013 to 2 October 2024. Born in Krakow. He debuted in the independent press in 1986. Until 1989, he collaborated with various titles of the underground and émigré press. In 1990-1993, he worked for the Polish Television (among others, as deputy director of TAI). Since 1993 he has worked for Polsat Television acting there, among others, as a programme director, antenna chief, managing director, head of thematic channels, head of information and journalism. Commentator for Polskie Radio Program 3, RDC, Tok FM and Radio PiN. Author, press publicist and columnist. Since 1995, an academic lecturer (Jagiellonian University, UW, Kozminski, Lazarski, SWPS). He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the Jagiellonian University. Founding member of the Krakow Industrial Society (1987). Member of the Polish Blues Association. President of the Chamber of Press Publishers from 2019 – 2021, vice-president from 2021. Vice-president of the European Newspapers Publishers Association (ENPA) from autumn 2020. Author of 12 books, numerous TV formats, documentaries.
