International Memorial board member

Alexandra Polivanova is a member of the board of directors of International Memorial, an organization that helps rehabilitate victims of unjust persecution and repression during the Soviet era. Today, Memorial and its affiliates are also actively working to protect human rights in some of Russia’s most troubled regions, including the North Caucasus. In 2022, Memorial was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Memorial is Russia’s oldest human rights organization.
