BIO

A graduate of the First Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Warsaw (2004). In 2002 and 2003, he completed clinical internships at the Psychiatry Clinic of the University of Heidelberg. From 2006 to 2010, he worked at the Nationwide Medical Specialist Clinic of the Family Development Society in Warsaw.

From 2014 to 2019, he directed the Department for the Treatment of First Symptoms of Psychosis and Prevention of Relapses at the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in Warsaw. Additionally, from 2017 to 2019, he served as the Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs at the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology. Currently, apart from the Lew-Starowicz Therapy Center, he holds the position of Head of the Psychiatry Clinic at the Medical Center for Postgraduate Education in Warsaw.

He remains scientifically affiliated with the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology. He was the first in Poland to obtain the European Union of Medical Specialists-affiliated certificate of specialist in sexual medicine (FECSM). In 2008, he defended his doctoral thesis on sexual disorders in hemodialysis patients.

In 2015, he received the title of habilitated doctor. In 2018, he was appointed as a professor at the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology, and in 2019, as a professor at the Medical Center for Postgraduate Education. He is the scientific editor of the monograph “Sexology” and the author and co-author of dozens of articles in scientific journals as well as many scientific and popular science books.
