Manager in innovative ICT projects in early and mature stage of development. Seed and startup investment manager. Member of the Committee on New Technologies and Innovations to the Polish Chamber of Commerce. Member of the National Development Council to the President of the Republic of Poland.
Maciek holds two MA Degrees of the University of Warsaw (Philosophy, Political Sciences/European Studies). Scholar exhibitioner at the Universität Salzburg. Academic teacher at the University of Warsaw (Department of Journalism and Political Sciences; Department of Philosophy and Sociology), where he lectured logics, analytical philosophy, Eastern-Europe regional policy.
Startup Hub Poland is a non-profit foundation. Our vision is to facilitate technological development in the CEE region and increase its global presence as a place where disruptive technologies appear.
Brilliant technological minds from this part of Europe have been for years contributing to the development of the most vibrant technological communities in the world. We believe it is the momentum now when CEE region allows to put the most courageous technological ideas to life here. Poland enjoys more than 20 years of rapid economic development and transformation, large investments in modernization of scientific facilities and is one of the most entrepreneurial countries in EU.
This made us come up with an idea to make Poland a technology hub for Central & Eastern Europe by bringing together prominent Polish and foreign inventors, entrepreneurs and scientists from Central and Eastern Europe.
We support bright minds from the region and Polish inventors and scientists living in Western Europe. We help them to develop their technology in Poland and facilitate an access to the fast-growing Polish financial market, modern laboratories, energetic start-up community and professional network in European and global markets.
We create Startup Hub Poland together with experienced entrepreneurs, investors, energetic young specialists, talented scientists and competent experts. We welcome people who think alike and share an aspiration to create disruptive innovative technologies in Central & Eastern Europe.
