Krzysztof Gawkowski
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digitization
Born on April 11, 1980 in Warsaw. Polish politician and local government activist, doctor of humanities.
Graduate of political science at the Higher School of Communication and Social Media in Warsaw. In local elections in 2002 and 2006 he was elected as a councilor of Wolomin. Between 2007 and 2008 – academic teacher at the Higher School of Security and Protection in Warsaw. From 2010 to 2014 – councilor of the Mazovian Voivodeship Assembly. In 2011, he received a doctoral degree in humanities from the Aleksander Gieysztor Academy of Humanities in Pułtusk. From 2019, he is a member of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland. From 2021. – Vice-chairman of the New Left party. On December 13, 2023, he was appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digitization.
Privately, he is a husband, father and author of crime novels.
