Jon Murchison, the founder and CEO of Blackpoint, began his career in network engineering and IT operations, but quickly transitioned into the secretive world of intelligence community. Since then, he has spent over twelve years planning, conducting, and executing high-priority national security missions.

As a former NSA expert in computer operations and IT specialist, he brings a unique perspective to the mission of developing software for cybersecurity that is effective in detecting and stopping targeted cyber intrusions and insider threats. Murchison holds multiple patents in network analysis methods, defense, pattern analysis, and mobile platforms.
