Dr. Joanna Mucha – economist, graduate in management studies and postgraduate studies in health at the University of Warsaw; obtained a PhD in health economics from the Catholic University of Lublin. From 2002 to 2010, she worked as an assistant at the Institute of Economics at KUL.

She is a lecturer at SWPS University and Collegium Civitas. She served as the secretary of the Bioethical Convention Team. From 2011 to 2013, she held the position of Minister of Sport and Tourism.

Member of the Polish Parliament (Sejm) for the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th terms. She serves on the parliamentary committees for Health, Public Finances, Constitutional Accountability, Environmental Protection, and Legislation.

In the 2023 parliamentary elections, she was re-elected from the Third Way Poland 2050 coalition committee of Szymon Hołownia and PSL. She is the vice-chairwoman of the Poland 2050 party led by Szymon Hołownia.
