Dr. Adam Manikowski is the Vice President of the Board and Managing Director of Żabka Polska. Since January 2021, he has been leading the area within which the network of stores operates, overseeing teams responsible for various aspects of Żabka’s operations, including franchise expansion and development, adaptation, supply chain, assortment, and communication. Previously, as the Vice President of Operations of Żabka, he led teams in sales, logistics, expansion, and technical matters. He brings rich experience from the international market. Before joining Żabka Polska, he served as the Executive Vice President of Marketing at Walmart, the world’s largest retailer. Prior to that, he was associated with Tesco, where he served as President and CEO of Tesco Polska, and before assuming that position, he supported the network’s development in China as Chief Operations Officer. He began his career in the operational structures of the Biedronka network, ultimately holding the position of Chief Marketing Officer. In 2017, he obtained a Doctor of Business Administration degree from Cranfield School of Management in the United Kingdom and an MBA diploma from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. He is a graduate of Stanford University, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, and SGH in Warsaw.
