Michał Szymański – New Markets Strategy Director at Polish Payment Standard, the operator of BLIK.
Throughout his professional life, he has been associated with the payment market, mainly in the field of business development and strategy. For many years, he worked at KIR, where for over 10 years he served as a vice president of the board responsible, among other things, for settlement systems. He also worked for consulting firms Accenture and PwC. At BLIK, he is responsible for international development, serving as the vice president of BLIK Romania and a board member of mTrust, among other roles. He holds a degree in economics from the University of Warsaw and a doctorate from the Warsaw School of Economics.
