Błażej Moder is a graduate of the Faculty of International and Political Studies, majoring in international relations with a specialization in Euromarketing (class of 2006). He is professionally associated with the public sector.

He worked at the Łódź Special Economic Zone SA from 2006 to 2007, and then at the Łódź Regional Development Agency SA from 2007 to 2011, where he served as Vice President, and from 2008 as the President of the Board. Later, from 2011 to 2012, he was a Board Member of the Łódź Infrastructure Company Sp. z o.o.

From 2012 to 2015, he held the position of Director of the Management Board of the New Łódź Center – a unit of the Łódź City Hall responsible for the redevelopment of 100 hectares of the city center around Łódź Fabryczna Station.

Since January 2015, he has been the Director of EC1 Łódź City of Culture – a cultural institution that carries out the revitalization project of a historic power and heating plant and its adaptation for cultural and artistic purposes. As part of the project, three cultural and educational centers were created: the National Film Culture Center, the Science and Technology Center, and the Interactive Narrative and Comics Center.

He is also a graduate of the Stern Leadership Academy and the Leadership Academy for Poland.
