Emil Dembiński has been the Managing Director of Volvo Car Poland since July 2021. Before taking over the leadership of the Polish branch, he served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer since November 2013. Under his leadership, Volvo saw a 15% increase in the registration of brand cars in Poland.

He began his professional career working at international consulting firms McKinsey and later KPMG. In the advisory industry, he developed from 1999 to 2005, thus laying solid foundations for his future ventures. In the next stage of his career, he was involved in founding Freightliner PL, a private railway carrier company, which gained significant market share and opened a branch in Germany. He also served as the vice president of the company’s board.

Emil Dembiński graduated in Finance and Banking from the Warsaw School of Economics in 1999. In the same year, he also obtained a master’s degree in International Finance and Investments from the University of Derby. From 2001 to 2004, he held the international ACCA (The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) certificate.
