Jan Szyszko
Deputy Minister of Funds and Regional Policy

From 2016-18, he was an analyst for European affairs at Polityka Insight. Subsequently, he worked as an evaluator and researcher of European Commission policies in the fields of transport and communication at one of the international consulting firms.

Co-founder and board member of the 2050 Strategies Institute. At the Institute, he was responsible for analyses related to Poland’s energy transformation, the National Recovery Plan, and EU policy. During the 2023 parliamentary campaign, he was a member of the staff for Polska 2050 and the Third Way, responsible for substantive communication.

He is the author and co-author of numerous reports summarizing Poland’s achievements in the EU and the legislative actions of EU institutions. He has collaborated with, among others, the Batory Foundation, the In.Europa Institute, and the Schuman Foundation.

He is a graduate of the College of Europe in Natolin, Trinity College Dublin, and Charles University in Prague.
