A producer with over 25 years of experience and the founder of Extreme Emotions, a production company established in 2016.
Her producing credits include Bafta and Oscar winning “Ida” and triple Oscar nominated “Cold War” both by Pawel Pawlikowski, as well as an art house animation for adult audiences “Kill It and Leave This Town” by Mariusz Wilczyński, which premiered in Berlinale 2020. Ewa Puszczyńska is also behind noteworthy productions like the Oscar nominated “Quo Vadis, Aida?” by Jasmila Zbanić, “Fools” directed by Tomasz Wasilewski, a winner of Berlinale Silver Bear, Jonathan Glazer’s double Oscar-winning “The Zone Of Interest” and recently Jesse Eisenberg’s “A Real Pain”, which premiered and received awards at Sundance 2024.
The Extreme Emotions is developing and financing a slate of projects including debut films like “Night Butterflies” by Marta Prus and “Safe and Silent” by Justyna Tafel. The company is dedicated to supporting young female directors as they navigate a film industry largely dominated by men.
A member of both the European Film Academy and AMPAS, Ewa Puszczyńska has been recognized in the Variety 500, an index of the 500 most influential business leaders.
