Wojciech Olszewski

Director of the Office of Proprietary Projects and Information Society at the Marshal’s Office of the Lubuskie Voivodeship. He is responsible, among other things, for digitization projects in Lubuskie province.

Former press and radio journalist, editor-in-chief, for a decade a local government official, former head of the Wymiarki municipality and current councilor of the city of Nowa Sól.

Activist of civic associations, long-time co-organizer of Odra Adventure rafting on the Oder River and film festivals: Lubuskie Film Summer and Solanin Film Festival.
Enthusiast of the development of e-services and digitization in local administration. Through the efforts of the office under his leadership, the Lubuskie Local Government Data Center, a digital competence center, and a portal for e-services provided by Lubuskie local governments are being created.

Implemented in 2023 in the region, the solution for supporting diagnosis and medicine with AI algorithms – MedBrain L – was awarded the Wings of IT in Administration 2024 award in the category of e-services for the citizen.
