Dr Lech Kalinowski – Doctor in physical sciences. Laureate of scholarship from the Marshal of Silesia Voivodeship (2013-2015) for research having true impact on regional industry. National Science Centre (NCN) grant recipient (2015-2018) for research on quantum condensed matter. Manager of multiple grants for young scientists funded by the Institute of Physics in Katowice. An expert of the Nanonet Foundation and the Silesian Nanotechnology Cluster.

Winner of the Nvidia GPU Academic Grant Program in 2018, thanks to which he gained support in conducting research using advanced methods of deep learning and machine learning in physics. Gained his research experience at Du Maine University in Le Mans. Worked on many research projects, such as electronic paper technologies (with Zikon Inc. cooperation), and cancer drug development for PDT therapy through strongly correlated electronic systems in which he held his Ph. D.
