Dr. Piotr Wachowiak, Professor at SGH and Rector of the Warsaw School of Economics – elected in March 2024 for a second term, and Director of the SGH Institute of Management. Deputy chairman of the Committee on Organization and Management of the Polish Academy of Sciences, deputy chairman of the CoE and chairman of the CoE.
Graduate of the Faculty of Internal Trade at SGPiS, majoring in organization and management. For more than three decades he has been associated with business practice – he was, among others, deputy director of the Żoliborz District Board, pro-rector and chancellor of SGH. He specializes in CSR, ESG, negotiation theory and practice, and people management in organizations. He is the author and co-author of numerous scientific papers on such topics as personnel policy, measurement of intellectual capital and knowledge management in companies, as well as corporate social responsibility.
