Mateusz Sulwiński
A board member of the Stonewall Group – one of the most recognizable LGBT+ organizations in Poland. He studied international relations and journalism at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. He gained professional experience in PR agencies, working with brands such as Cartoon Network, TNT, and PKO Bank Polski.
He worked on managing social media channels for Allegro, the largest online transaction platform in Poland. At the beginning of 2020, he left the company to focus on his work at the Stonewall Group. Currently, he is involved in online marketing, social campaigns, coordination of training activities, and business cooperation within the group.
He has conducted several hundred hours of webinars and lectures on LGBT+ communities, inclusive language, and the movement’s demands for companies like Endemol Shine Polska, Converse, Deloitte, and Heineken. He is the initiator and coordinator of the Poznań employee network “LGBT+ in the workplace.”
He coordinated the transpraca.pl campaign aimed at improving the situation of transgender individuals in the Polish job market. He co-coordinated the social campaign “We are good at being together” (Golden Clip 2022) and co-organized eight editions of the Poznań Pride Week festival and the Poznań Equality March. In 2024, he was listed among the 100 people supporting sexual education in Poland by Forbes Women and SEXEDPL magazines.
