Deputy President of the Management Board of NFOŚiGW

Paweł Augustyn is an economist with many years of managerial experience. He has served on the boards of various companies and enterprises in the energy, chemical, and raw materials sectors. He is also a practitioner of management in the environmental protection and waste management industry as well as in the construction and real estate market. As a manager, he has specialized in developing and implementing financial strategies for companies, conducting capital investments, building and managing teams, business advisory, and sales management.

Since 2024, he has been serving as the Deputy President of the Management Board of NFOŚiGW, where he supervises, among others, the Departments of Waste Management, Consumer Energy, Electromobility, and the Innovation Department.

From 2018 to 2023, he was the President of the Management Board of Eneris Surowce – a large company in the waste management industry. He then became the President of the Management Board of H2 Energy Kraków, responsible for one of the largest projects in the country for the production of green hydrogen. Previously, he served as a Member of the Management Board of Ciech S.A. (1998–2002) and as Managing Director and Member of the Management Board of Restaura in Warsaw (2006-2015).

He is a graduate of the Krakow University of Economics. He has attended numerous training sessions and courses, including the ICAN Institute Leadership Program and Project Management – IBM Poland. He is a mentor in the Leopold Kronenberg Foundation.
